Step 1: Local Selection: Players performing well in local events or communities may earn the opportunity to play on a ball club in the Mountain West Regional Identification Series.
Step 2: Mountain West Regional Identification Series: Players performing well in the Regional may earn the opportunity to play on Team Mountain West in the USA Baseball National Team Identification Series in Cary, NC –September 10-12, 2010 at the USA Baseball Training Complex. Only twelve teams will appear in that event, from 11 regions, and one at-large team. Mountain West is one of the regions.
Step 4: National Team Identification Series: Players performing well in the NTIS may earn an invitation to a 2011 USA Baseball National Team Trials.
Step 5: USA Baseball National Team Trials: Players performing well at the Trials may earn the opportunity to play on a 2011 USA Baseball National Team.
